STEM Education through Robotics is flourishing in Nebraska!  This map is powerful way to visually display the number of teams across Nebraska.  We can see how far 293 VEX Robotics and CREATE teams has been used to promote STEM Education in Nebraska.

Inspired by a post by the Nebraska First Lego League that included a map of FLL Robotics teams across Nebraska.  We generated a similar map of the CREATE & VEX Robotics participation across Nebraska. After a little digging and were excited to see the breadth of how many teams can be found across Nebraska. In all we also found over 293 additional Robotics teams across Nebraska. These teams are split among two other platforms: VEX Robotics, & CREATE.

Here is the breakdown of teams registered this season for each platform and competition:

Stop and think.  There are over 410 Robotics teams in Nebraska. That’s a lot of STEM Education happening in Nebraska.  When you combine the 293 VEX Robotics and CREATE teams with the 117 First Lego League Teams, you have quite an impressive number.  The future in Nebraska looks bright.
