Lincoln Intermediate VEX Results (in Mason City, IA)

The Lincoln Intermediate VEX tournament was held in Mason City, Iowa.  A very competitive tournament of both High School and Middle School teams competed for qualifying spots at the VRC Heartland Regional Robotics Championship.  Notably, they saw world ranked Robot Skills scores posted by 2501B and 2501J.  2501B was 10th in the world with a score of 314.  2501J was 12th in the world with a score of 310.

This tournament qualified four teams for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship, the Excellence Award winner and the three Tournament Champion teams. The High School Excellence award was awarded to team 5233J (Justice League) from National Robotics Academy, Inc. The Middle School Excellence award was awarded to team 985A (Enlightened Luddites) from Mary Our Queen School. The Tournament Champions were 2501B (Optimus Dime) from Thomas Jefferson HS, 2501T (Where’s Aldo?) from Thomas Jefferson HS, and 367D (Trial & Error) from Solon MS.

Lakeview HS VEX Tournament Results

The Lakeview Tournament is the first Nebraska VEX Robotics tournament in 2016. Teams got back into action after a long Christmas Break.  It was the first tournament hosted by Lakeview Community Schools in cooperation with Nebraska Public Power District.

This tournament qualified four teams for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship, the Excellence Award winner and the three Tournament Champion teams. The Excellence award was awarded to team 6813B (MW M^3) from Millard West HS. The Tournament Champions were 1064A (Nebraska Nerd Herd) from Omaha North, 5155A (Organized Chaos) from Cross County Robotics, and 3141A (Irrational) from Gross Catholic HS.

Latest Regional Championship Qualifiers as of Jan 9th

Vex Robotics teams in Nebraska started the new year with a tournament in the Columbus, NE area at the Lakeview Community Schools.

Congratulations to the following newly qualified High School teams who will be competing at the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship: 6813B (MW M^3) from Millard West HS, 1064A (Nebraska Nerd Herd) from Omaha North and 3141A (Irrational) from Gross Catholic HS. These teams qualified at the Lakeview VEX Tournament this weekend.

The VRC Heartland Regional Robotics Championship will host 44 of the best High School VEX Robotics teams and 32 of the best Middle School VEX Robotics teams from Iowa and Nebraska. This post is an unofficial list of the teams have currently qualified for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championships as of December 12th, 2015. Omaha North Tournament Results – High School Division

The High School Division of the Omaha North VEX Robotics Tournament is one of the largest and most competitive VEX Robotics tournaments in the region.  With 80 teams competing, it is a perfect test for many of the High School teams on handling big tournament scenarios.

This tournament qualified four teams for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship, the Excellence Award winner and the three Tournament Champion teams. The Excellence award was awarded to team 5069B (DERP.exe) from Millard North HS. The Tournament Champions were 5069B (DERP.exe) from Millard North HS, 5155A (Organized Chaos) from Cross County Robotics, and 5069D (Trojan Mustangs) from Millard North HS.

Elkhorn HS VEX Robotics Tournament Results

The Elkhorn HS VEX Robotics Tournament hosted their first VEX Robotics tournament. A great tournament, with some new schools qualifying for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship.

This Saturday was a big day for VEX Robotics, with nearly 150 teams competing in the Omaha Metro area across three tournaments.  With the sharp increase in VEX Robotics teams across Nebraska and Iowa, Elkhorn HS provided a much needed opportunity for teams to get a chance to play and qualify.

This tournament qualified four teams for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship, the Excellence Award winner and the three Tournament Champion teams. The Excellence award was awarded to team 2501J (Full Metal Jackets) from Thomas Jefferson HS. The Tournament Champions were 2501B (Optimus Dime) & 2501C (Point Blank Jackets) from Thomas Jefferson HS, and 5053A (Pioneer 1) from Fort Calhoun HS.

Iowa Western Robotics Laboratory showcased at VEX Robotics Tournament

Iowa Western showcased their new robotics laboratory during a VEX Robotics tournament this weekend. Teams from both Iowa and Nebraska challenged each other for a chance to qualify for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship.

A weekend of great robots from both states. Congratulations to Cross County Community Schools from Stromsburg, NE and Techna Pwn Robotics from Council Bluffs, IA who qualified two of their teams to the Heartland Regional. Gross Catholic High School, and 985B (Spartans) from Mary Our Queen School. These team qualified from the McMillan Middle School Robotics Tournament.

This tournament qualified four teams for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship, the Excellence Award winner and the three Tournament Champion teams. The Excellence award was awarded to team 5155A (Organized Chaos) from Cross County Robotics. The Tournament Champions were 5155A (Organized Chaos) from Cross County Robotics, 3018 from Techna Pwn Robotics, and 5155D (EROR 404) from Cross County Robotics.

McMillan Middle School Robotics Tournament Results

The McMillan Middle School Robotics Tournament was another exciting Middle School VEX Robotics tournament that included teams from both Nebraska and Iowa. The competition is heating up with some amazing designs and new strategies.  Teams competed for qualifying spots at the VRC Heartland Regional Robotics Championship.

This tournament qualified four teams for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship, the Excellence Award winner and the three Tournament Champion teams. The Excellence award was awarded to team 3919C (Young Guns) from St. Patrick’s Catholic School.
