Heartland Regional VEX Robotics Championship Qualifiers – 12-5-15

Congratulations to the following newly qualified High School teams who will be competing at the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship: 5155A (Organized Chao) and 5155D (EROR 404) from Cross County Robotics. These team qualified from the Iowa Western VEX Robotics Tournament.

Congratulations to the following newly qualified Middle School teams who will be competing at the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship: 3919C (Young Guns) from St. Patrick’s Catholic School, 3018V (Vexcalibur) from Techna Pwn Robotics, 3141R (Random Bits) from Daniel J. Gross Catholic High School, and 985B (Spartans) from Mary Our Queen School. These team qualified from the McMillan Middle School Robotics Tournament.

The VRC Heartland Regional Robotics Championship will host 44 of the best High School VEX Robotics teams and 32 of the best Middle School VEX Robotics teams from Iowa and Nebraska. This post is an unofficial list of the teams have currently qualified for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championships as of November 14th, 2015. Iowa Western VEX Robotics Tournament Results

Nebraska RoboticsThe Iowa Western VEX Robotics Tournament was held on Saturday, December 5th in Council Bluffs, IA.

This tournament qualified four teams for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship, the Excellence Award winner and the three Tournament Champion teams. The Excellence award was awarded to team 5155A (Organized Chaos) from Cross County Robotics. The Tournament Champions were 5155A (Organized Chaos) from Cross County Robotics, 3018 from Techna Pwn Robotics, and 5155D (EROR 404) from Cross County Robotics.

McMillan Middle School Robotics Tournament Results

The McMillan Middle School Robotics Tournament was another exciting Middle School VEX Robotics tournament that included teams from both Nebraska and Iowa. The competition is heating up with some amazing designs and new strategies.  Teams competed for qualifying spots at the VRC Heartland Regional Robotics Championship.

This tournament qualified four teams for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship, the Excellence Award winner and the three Tournament Champion teams. Mary Our Queen Skills Details in OWH

Details on the impressive performance by local VEX Robotics teams at the Mary Our Queen Robotics Skills Challenge can be found in today’s edition of the Omaha World-Herald. Notably the Millard South High School Robotics scores are still topping the world rank charts, only slipping one spot in the past two weeks.

York Times: Cross County hosts huge robotics tournament

Sixty robotics teams from Council Bluffs, IA, to Ravenna, NE and from Columbus, NE to Hesston, KS, converged onto Cross County High School for Saturday’s VEX Robotics Tournament.

“I was blown away at the turnout and our volunteers were just amazing,” said Ben Hackett who directed the event for the Cougars. “Our community and school really put heart into these events and with help from Nebraska Public Power District this is a first-class venue for robotics.”

Congratulations to the following newly qualified Middle School teams who will be competing at the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship: 985C (Robohawks) from Mary Our Queen School and 1073E (Computer Maniacs) from Marrs Magnet Middle School. These team qualified from the King Science Vex Robotics Tournament.

Cross County Robotics Tournament Results

The Cross County Robotics Tournament held a 60 team tournament on November 21st.  This is the first of the large tournaments this season.  It was split into two divisions, with the each Division Champion competing for the overall Tournament champions for qualifying spots at the VRC Heartland Regional Robotics Championship.

This tournament qualified four teams for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship, the Excellence Award winner and the three Tournament Champion teams. The King Science Robotics Tournament is the second Middle School VEX Robotics tournament in Nebraska. Teams came back to the with improved designs as they competed for qualifying spots at the VRC Heartland Regional Robotics Championship.

This tournament qualified four teams for the Heartland Regional Robotics Championship, the Excellence Award winner and the three Tournament Champion teams. The Excellence award was awarded to team 985C (Robohawks) from Mary Our Queen School. The Tournament Champions were 985C (Robohawks) from Mary Our Queen School, 1073A (Decoded) from Marrs Magnet Middle School, and 1073E (Computer Maniacs) from Marrs Magnet Middle School.
